>> Quality Control :::

The Sun Forge. has set high performance goals for organization which are expressed in Mission and Vision Statements. It shall be the goal of The Sun Forge. to meet and maintain total quality objectives such that the quality systems of the company will be certifiable to the requirements of ISO 90001 (TUV Rheinland).The purpose of this goal shall be to create whatever organizational structure and management systems are necessary to assure customer service and product performance exceed customer expectations.

 

 

>> 01. Drawing Control

Master drawing files include all or part of the following :

Customer supplied drawings :

  • Forging drawings
  • Customer Specifications (Raw material, heat treat, etc.)

Sun Forge. generated drawings :

  1. Die Drawings
  2. Tooling and Fixture drawings

    Master drawing files are stored and maintained in the Quality Center and/or computer files, according to customer name, part number.

    After completion of the order, all drawings are returned to the Quality Center for storage.

>> 2.0 Tooling Control
  • Tooling consists of all items used to produce an end product.
  • All tooling is marked with an identification number.
  • Identification numbers are catalogued according to die type & number.
  • Usage history records are maintained for all tooling.

>> 3.0 Measurement Equipment
  • All measurement equipment used in production and inspection will be inspected by Quality Assurance for compliance with all applicable standards.
  • Equipment requiring calibration shall be calibrated by qualified outside agency for calibration/repair under the supervision of Quality Assurance.
  • All measurement equipment used will have a permanent identification number.
    Calibration Records is maintain for all measurement equipment .

>> 4.0 Receiving Inspection
  • All receiving materials (critical items) are inspected at receiving stage as per the respective specification/quality plan/purchase order requirements. As a policy of Sun Forge., without any incoming inspection material is not issued for further operation.
  • Supplier certifications are required for all raw material purchased for production and are permanently retained. The raw material inspection & testing are carried out as per quality plan / as per the customer’s requirements from outside agency. The result of such inspection is verified with acceptance criteria.
  • Material size and weight are verified upon delivery.
  • Independent laboratory analysis of material will be performed when required by the customer. Laboratory certifications are permanently retained.
  • Rejected material is segregated from all other material with tags to indicate the status and reason for rejection.

>> 5.0 Production Planning

Sun Forge. is prepared production planning Based on the order/schedule acceptance, monthly requirements. Production plan to be carried out considering the manufacturing capacity and lead-time. Based on the stock statement, requirement & production plan, raw material planning is carried out. Delivery schedule is provided to all the vendor/subcontractor. In-house manufacturing product and vendor-supplied product are monitored as per the delivery schedule.

>>6.0 Identification & Trace Ability
  • Flags are used for identification of product at all stages for product identification & traceability.
  • Heat code is used to provide traceability of product.

>>7.0 Set-up & In Process Inspection
  • Set-up inspections are used to check dimensions of the first ten parts produced during every production run. Operators will adjust machinery and/or tooling until inspection approval is achieved.
  • 2 Pcs per Hour is our inspection frequency for running production.
  • Parts are inspected by Shift In charge, Inspector & QC In charge as necessary, to determine parts produced are within correct specifications.

>> 8.0 Process Control

Sun Forge. doing process control as per the Product Flow Chart & Quality Plan. All operations are carried out as per the product flow chart and the quality plans are displayed for the relevant stage at the work area. Required work instructions / charts are prepared and displayed near the working area. Before start of production or while changing over, first piece approval is carried out. During the production, product parameters are monitored as per the quality plan at defined frequency. In case of any discrepancy observed during the production corrective action is taken. Daily production and nonconformity is monitored.

>> 9.0 Pre Dispatch Inspection

10 Pcs For every Lot is checked before predispatch.
